I Partied!

Vava-voom! I'm back partyin'!

I haven't partied for a while, decided to change my lifestyle and be more domesticated. It's true indeed that you can take the girl out of the party but you can't take the party out of the girl. I was a party animal and I was just overwhelmed when my girlfriends spontaneously planned an all-girls night out. It's been ages since the last time we went out without our husbands/partners/BFs!

We arranged to have dinner in a Spanish restaurant just right on the lower level of the club we were going so we didn't have to move around in this freezing temperature. I've heard a lot of good reviews of the restaurant so my expectations were high. Also considering that it was a fine dining place with a good reputation from the Shanghai buzz, that topped it all. But I was disappointed with the food so I wont post any details of the restaurant. The food was bland, no "wow" factor, and represents only a typical tapas place contradicting it's very lovely ambiance & interior. The service was amazing but it wont suffice a good dinner. Not to mention the sangria was just a dry mix of white wine & juice & the fruit was mixed on our glasses. Not impressed...at all and not going back definitely. 

Anyways....since the occasion was a girls gossip night out, I dressed up in a very girly yet party looking dress. Actually it's the same dress I wore on New Year's eve here. I just thought I wore it at such a very short period of time and the simple dinner didn't justify the purpose of my buying this dress, it was meant to be a party dress!

I knew which dress to wear but had no clue what else to pair it with. When the doorbell rang for a cab waiting for me, I just randomly grabbed anything I could find to match with the dress: the leopard print pumps (worn here), a detailed stockings (similar here), a mohair blanket-size (lol!) scarf, found the green bag to match the scarf, and quickly asked my husband to take a snapshot of me in pre-intoxicated stage. 

I accessorized my outfit with my latest embellished buys from Zara (shown here): the belt & the necklace. I would've wanted to wear the embellished clutch too but I want the details to be focused more on my belt & necklace and kept the clutch simple and matched with my scarf. Isn't green the color of the year?

This is really a very long scarf..like I said it's blanket-like size, lol! But I wrapped it around my shoulder on that cold night and it's very warm & comfy

Bumped into an old officemate, twas a fun night!

On the same week, we went out again for another party night, awww! I think I'm not yet done with my addiction...

Wore a simple royal blue bandage dress, blue & silver heels (worn here), and a silver clutch (worn here). I just wanted to be carefree, comfortable, and at the same time a bit sexy :)

My husbands friends were also there to party with us!

My girlfriends rock and I'm so lucky to have them in my life! So happy to be out again and have fun with lovely people :)
